Logistics

In 2005 MECo International, under the leadership of industry veteran Philip C. Jones, established our logistics industry practice. Phil held management positions in North America in his 7 years with Northwest Cargo and 7 years with Flying Tigers (Federal Express). He moved to Asia in 1993 and spent 7 years in senior positions with Kintetsu World Express with his last one being Vice President and General Manager, Kintetsu Express (Beijing) Inc., and 6 years in charge of the logistics and supply chain practice at Tokyo-based WorldPort Services. Phil has written articles concerning the reshaping of Japan’s logistics industry that have been published in magazines such as the American Chamber of Commerce’ monthly Journal.
